Meet The Masters

"Meet the Masters" is a practice incentive program to introduce students to the renowned works of the Master Composers. The students select the "master-piece" they wish to learn, and they also learn about the background of the composer of that music.
Many well known piano classics have easy arrangements, so this is not just a program for the advanced students. All piano students who are playing with two hands can take part, including Piano-In-Color students. (For beginners who are still working through just left hand or just right hand, they will be able to join the program when they are playing comfortably with both hands).
The students are given a "Meet the Masters" booklet, which is updated each time they complete one of their chosen pieces of music. On completion of each master-piece, they take a step up the "Meet the Masters" ladder, and receive a small prize.
This is a great practice incentive, and also fun for the students to play songs/melodies that are well known and that they enjoy. It is also good preparation for recitals and gives the students a repertoire of well known songs that they can play for friends and family members.
