Etudes Music Studio Policy - HOPP 2023/24
Welcome to the new Piano Year. I am super excited about this new Home School Piano Program. The policies below will help us to have a very productive Piano Year. Please read and let me know if you have any questions.
Lessons
The Home School Piano Program runs from 15 September 2023 through 31 May 2024. Students will have 32 regular lessons during the Piano Year.

Lesson Fees can be paid monthly or termly.

Monthly Payments
- The Annual Lesson Fee will be divided into 9 equal monthly payments payable from September through May. Invoices will be sent out at the start of the month and payment is due 7th of the month.
Termly Payments
- The Annual Lesson Fee will be divided into 3 equal payments, payable September, December and March. An invoice will be sent out at the start of each term. Save $4 per month by paying termly.

A $25 Annual Registration Fee will be included on the first invoice. A $15 late fee will be added to any payment received after the due date. Students will not be permitted to join the lesson if fees are not paid by the due date. |
The Invoices will contain Zelle / Cash App / PayPal payment details, as well as the list of lesson dates/times for your child's lesson. A 3% processing fee will be applied to PayPal or Card payments. Paying by Zelle, Cash App or check will avoid the processing fee.
Attendance
Students should arrive at Nichols Bethel 5 minutes before the lesson. The entrance is at the back of the building. Ring the door bell at Door #1 if the door is locked and someone will let you in. Please wait quietly outside the music room until the previous class is dismissed. Lessons will begin promptly so it is important to arrive on time so that your child doesn't miss any of the lesson.
In-person lessons are NOT drop-off lessons. Nichols Bethel has a “Safe Child Policy” so parents must stay close by or in the room with their child during the lesson. This will enable you to know how to help your kiddos to practice at home during the week.

PreSchool Pals students will not be assigned home practice, but all other students are expected to practice 5 days a week. Their practice time should take about 10 minutes each day. Piano practice is homework - most students need to be reminded to do it.

All students are welcome to take part in the end of term recitals.
