Our Christmas Recital was online this year. A lot of practice and preparation went into making it just as successful as our in-person recitals. Here are some of the performances.
Keep up the good work Samantha! We are super proud of you. YAY!
We intend to perform this recital as soon as we can, but in the meantime, I want to share how the students sounded a month ago after just three rehearsals. I am super excited about how they will sound when they finally get a chance to perform this recital on stage.
In January, they will start working on Music For Little Mozarts Book 2 and the Music For Little Mozarts Recital Book. I am excited to see which class will be the next class to complete Book 1 :)
A gigantic THANK YOU for your phenomenal support of our Operation Christmas Child project. You all stepped up in an amazing way and helped us to fill 23 shoeboxes with gifts for children across the world who would normally not receive gifts this Christmas. I was touched by the enthusiasm of the students as I shared the goal of Operation Christmas Child. Many asked if they could bring iPhones and Tablets for these children, but I didn’t think you parents would want to fund that, so we stuck with school supplies, toiletries, socks, dolls, balls and other small toys :) Special thanks to Joe, who took time to fill out the coloring sheet and the note for the recipient of his shoebox gifts. That was so thoughtful :) Miss Lisa delivered our boxes to the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Odenton, and she also put a track on some of the shoeboxes so we can find out which country those boxes go to.
